I've titled my website "Quiet Images", because that is the feeling that they convey to me and, hopefully, to you. A characteristic common to my photographs is a sense of quietude. They don't shout; they whisper.
It is somewhat ironic that black-and-white photography is called that, because the best part about it is not the black or the white; it is the silvery gray tones in between. Those are the tones I seek. Most of my photographs are taken in soft, indirect light, where those tones reside.
As my photographs are subtle, spend some time with them. You will be rewarded with some subtle surprises.
